Privacy Policy

1. Who we are & scope
MyFlare (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered flare-forecasting service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle sensitive health data and treat it accordingly.
2. Data we collect
Account details (name, email); health data you provide (symptoms, conditions, medications, cycle information); device and usage data; data from optional integrations you connect (e.g. Apple Health, Google Fit, approximate location for weather); and data we derive, such as your flare-risk scores.
3. How we use your data
To generate your forecasts, personalize the service, provide support, and keep MyFlare secure. We do not train AI models on your identifiable health data, and we never sell your data.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process health data (special-category data) on the basis of your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
5. Sharing & disclosure
We share data only with service providers (“processors”) that help us operate — hosting, infrastructure, and analytics — under contract. We may disclose data if required by law. We never sell personal information.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent, at any time from your account or by contacting us. Residents of certain regions (EU/UK, California, Washington) have additional statutory rights, including under the Washington My Health My Data Act.
7. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest and restrict access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.
9. Children
MyFlare is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.
10. Changes & contact
We’ll notify you of material changes. Questions? Reach us at privacy@myflare.health.
